Fashion Friday: Books & Bedtime

Weston’s bedtime routine has become a tad challenging in the past few weeks and if it weren’t for bubble bath beards and strawberry flavored toothpaste he would surely claim torture.

In an effort to make the transition to bed more appealing, I’ve whipped up a few bedtime story inspired outfits to help bring the party to any pajama-fest. Here are a few ideas on how to bring your child’s favorite bedtime books to life through dramatic play.

Books & Bedtime

1. Pippi Longstocking pajama set/HannaAnderson, Lily Throw Pillow/Land of Nod, Red Ugg Slippers/Nordstrom, “The Going to Bed Book”, Amazon

2. Train Pajama set/HannaAnderson, Kids Head Light/Amazon, RAAAAA Dinosaur Cushion, FreddyAlphabet, “Goodnight, Goodnight, Construction Site”, Amazon

3. Stripped Pajama set/HannaAnderson, Monkey Mask/BHB Kidstyle, Brown Minnetonka Slippers/Nordstrom, “Goodnight Gorilla”, Amazon

4. Milk & Cookies pajama set/Gap, Felt Milk & Cookie play set/Annas Craft House, Red Mocassins/FreshleyPicked, “If You Give a Mouse a Cookie”, Amazon

I really enjoyed putting this week’s round up together. In fact, it’s helped me realize how easy it is to break free from the chains of stale and mundane rituals. Whether it be a mask, a fun pillow or cool pair of pajamas, integrate your children’s interests into your daily routine and watch as their imaginations come alive.

Have a great weekend!
